The goal of the software is to help you reach a typing speed of approximately ten to twelve words per minute within a couple of weeks. This makes it useful for absolute beginners who are still using the hunt and peck typing method, but not especially useful for those who are already touch typists and are looking to improve their speed. The lessons require just a few minutes a day, and you can advance to the next one each time you receive a three-star score. Once your base speed is established, you can only improve to faster speeds through regular computer use, not through the lessons this program provides.
